Issue/June'25

hello and thanks for visiting. this is first issue of the mnocrom journal, here, you can get to see images in full resolution, and in most cases, profiled versions for print. this format presents a collective of photography, generations and photographic/generation, that i have been working on, hopefully this will be the first of many, and on a monthly basis.
please note, some social media platforms don't allow you to view images with icc profiles, a normal jpeg looks completely different to an image with a Japanese Washi, Hahnemühle or Ilford Cotton profile, and in turn, giving the wrong impression of an image for everyone to see, to promote or advertise for purchasing and licensing. image profiles let you see what an image will look like printed on paper.

left to right, a little dabbling in ai generation and photography combined, the first, an illustration influenced by Hieronymus Bosch and the story of Alice in Wonderland, the second image, a combination of photography and generation, originally a photograph of local woodland and then generation of other elements, photo processing in lightroom.
ai generation and photography combined

an open door for experimentation, the idea of incorporating ai generation and photography together, opening a vast array of possibilities in photographic manipulation and creative artwork, a few examples here, the first, a portrait, was a photo session with an old friend of mine, 'richard', the images then taken and modified, altered, and various elements of clothing, backdrop, facial elements added, the image was then put through lightroom for some final touches for the final image presented here.
the second image, again, a photograph taken from a local park and woodland, elements added, carts and barrels, frost on the ground, fog, a dirt-track replacing a public path, and generally creating a more ambient and period scene, the original composition of the image, trees and woodland, pathway, hasn't really changed that much, in what i would call the 'base structural elements' of the image. the image was then put into lightroom for some final touches and profiled for Japanese washi kozo print.
